Mel Eaglesfield
Director of Funding Strategy, Innovation & UK
Having spent over 18 years working across funding portfolios and corporate functions at The National Lottery Community Fund, Mel Eaglesfield brings a breadth of knowledge, expert insight and understanding to her role leading the organisation’s funding strategy, innovation and UK-wide programmes.
Most recently Mel has led our UK portfolio, awarding UK-wide grants. This work included the design and delivery of new grant programmes including significant national campaigns and commitments to communities and the environment through the Climate Action Fund, a multi-million pound commitment to investing in community-led climate action, and our UK Fund which focusses on the scaling of projects that demonstrate a UK-wide benefit.
Mel also currently oversees our Communications and Impact work until our new Director of Communications, Impact & Influence joins the Fund.
