Liz Church
Director of People and Culture
Liz is responsible for our People and Culture strategy and leads our organisational development work.
Liz has been committed to working in the public and voluntary sectors to deliver purposeful outcomes for the people these organisations serve, joining the Fund from the London Borough of Hounslow where she helped to shape and connect their services through organisation design.
Over the last 10 years Liz has held various roles as People and Culture Director, including at Citizens Advice, where she was responsible for developing and delivering a people strategy that led the organisation through a period of digital and cultural change, and Parkinson’s UK, where she worked with the leadership team to develop a more inclusive and impactful culture and launched an equality, diversity and inclusion strategy to reach more diverse groups of people living with Parkinson’s.
I’m passionate about the mission of the Community Fund to foster inclusive and environmentally sustainable communities, build strength in our society and improve lives, particularly for children and young people. The role of People and Culture Director offers a fantastic opportunity to grow, evolve and develop the organisation to meet the ambitious goals of ‘It starts with Community’.
