This funding created over 640,000 out of school childcare places, across England, NI, Scotland and Wales through local grant programmes.
Out of School Hours Learning
The funding has helped around 12,000 schools across the UK. They are engaged in a variety of activities including drama, dance, mentoring schemes, volunteering opportunities.
Out of School Hours Learning - School Sports Co-ordinators
The aim of the programme was to resource activities that promote effective links between sport and learning which aim to motivate pupils or build their self-esteem.
Out of School Hours Learning Summer Schools
This funding was made available across the UK to fund summer school places for an extra 250,000 pupils.
