Apply

We open to applications on Wednesday 8 July at 10am

Until then you can view the questions that will be in the application form.

How long it will take once you’ve applied

The full application process usually takes around 10 months.

There are 2 stages:

  • first stage: we aim to give you a decision within 4 months of receiving your application

  • second stage: if your application goes further, it may take up to 6 months to gather more information and make a final decision

What you’ll need to apply

We’ll ask for:

  • the legal name of your organisation

  • its address

  • the type of organisation it is

  • any registration numbers (for example, charity or company numbers)

Check these details carefully. Incorrect information will delay your application.

We’ll ask for your:

  • most recent accounts

  • draft accounts, if your accounts are older than 10 months

  • 12-month projections, if your organisation is less than 15 months old

  • accounting end date

  • total income for the year

Information about your team

You’ll need to tell us about 2 people in your organisation. One should be the main contact who we can talk to about the project. The other should be a senior person who’s legally responsible for the funding.

We’ll ask you for their:

  • names

  • contact details

  • home addresses

  • dates of birth

They must:

  • have separate email addresses

  • live in the UK

  • not be related

What we mean by related

We consider people to be related if they are:

  • married or in a civil partnership

  • in a long-term relationship or live together

  • related by blood or through a partner

We’ll check the information you give us

As an organisation that gives out public funds, we’ll check the information you give us. Read our guide to checks we do on your information.
