How long it will take once you’ve applied
The full application process usually takes around 10 months.
There are 2 stages:
first stage: we aim to give you a decision within 4 months of receiving your application
second stage: if your application goes further, it may take up to 6 months to gather more information and make a final decision
What you’ll need to apply
We’ll ask for:
the legal name of your organisation
its address
the type of organisation it is
any registration numbers (for example, charity or company numbers)
Check these details carefully. Incorrect information will delay your application.
Information about your organisation’s finances
We’ll ask for your:
most recent accounts
draft accounts, if your accounts are older than 10 months
12-month projections, if your organisation is less than 15 months old
accounting end date
total income for the year
Information about your team
You’ll need to tell us about 2 people in your organisation. One should be the main contact who we can talk to about the project. The other should be a senior person who’s legally responsible for the funding.
We’ll ask you for their:
names
contact details
home addresses
dates of birth
They must:
have separate email addresses
live in the UK
not be related
What we mean by related
We consider people to be related if they are:
married or in a civil partnership
in a long-term relationship or live together
related by blood or through a partner
