Introduction
This report presents the first interim summary of the #iwill Fund impact evaluation and learning contract. The programme supports youth social action for children and young people. The report shares early learning about progress, partnerships, and system change. It’s intended to inform funders, policy makers, and delivery partners.
Findings
As this is an early interim report, it’s too soon to draw firm conclusions about impact. However, early evidence and case studies highlight some emerging insights about youth social action and programme delivery. These include:
the evaluation infrastructure and partnerships needed for the programme have largely been established
while limited, data to date indicates that youth social action opportunities were fairly spread across areas of deprivation
case studies show youth social action activities can support skills, confidence and community engagement among young people
early learning highlights the importance of collaboration between funders, delivery partners and evaluators
These insights are preliminary and will be explored further as the evaluation progresses and more data becomes available.
