The funding will be used to run a community-based volunteering project that helps identify and support young people suffering from a range of mental health issues. The project aims to facilitate the building of strong relationships in and across the community through training young people as project peer mentors who will then support other local young people tackle low level mental health issues before they develop and become worse.
