The funding will support an outreach �Sight Hub� service every month in ten community areas across the county expanding on the success of a pilot project. The organisation provides free confidential support and information to people who are visually impaired (VI) living in Hampshire. They currently provide a range of services including local support groups for older clients working age and family groups � giving advice on equipment money/debt budgeting housing employment and benefits. They also raise awareness of sight loss prevention by visiting schools and community groups to highlight the importance of eye health.
