The funding will be used to host multi-sensory Christmas musicals to be shown to audiences from predominantly low socio-economic backgrounds and young disabled people and their carers. The shows will follow a pilot show in 2018 which was attended by audiences of 2716 people with 945 children from Eastbourne schools in attendance. Each of the performances creates a sensory experience utilising smell taste sight sound and touch to communicate with disabled children irrespective of their additional needs. Live music accompanies each show creating sound vibrations which are felt physically.
