This project will expand the Small Heath Development Programme which aims to equip young people from low socio-economic backgrounds with the skills experience and network to create a sustainable route out of poverty into high-skilled employment. It will support young people (15-16 years old) with interpersonal skills such as leadership and communication alongside technical skills such as coding and software skills. Run alongside experience-building workshops and a mentorship scheme that will partner participants with successful university graduates. A week long bootcamp will be supplemented with monthly activities days out to local organisations and enrichment activities.
