The funding will encourage people from diverse communities to join together to enhance the garden by planting and improving pathways allowing easier access. They will also run events to celebrate and learn about a 200-year-old mulberry tree in the garden. The area provides local people with growing spaces and learning opportunities opening twice weekly for volunteer sessions workshops and events. Whilst improving the area local people will be encouraged to volunteer or visit and benefit from the social interaction and natural surroundings.
