The project will use the funding to employ a co-ordinator who will explore a more sustainable approach to securing the longevity of the group in Kendal and will help to re-establish its cafe which provides lunches for the frail and elderly using surplus food. It will also continue it's work via Food Share. This aims to reduce isolation and help those experiencing food poverty.
