The project is using funding to create and develop a community garden and food growing project at their centre in Southall. Activities includes the creation of a large communal garden with flowers fruit trees and seating food growing allotments which will be run by an 'older people's collective' the creation of a seed and plant sharing scheme as well as a peer-to-peer mentoring to promote engagement and participation in gardening and nature. The project will also engage housebound older people through remote online activities based in the garden and allotment areas.
