Bangladeshi Parents and Carers Association (BPCA) is using funding to cover the rent for their premises in East London over the next year so they can continue to offer recreational educational and wellbeing programmes that enable their users to develop social skills giving them the tools to integrate into the community and exercise their independence and choice. They also provide support and training to family friends or neighbours who might assist in the caring process. The funding allows the group to focus on delivering online/remote support/sessions to their service users throughout lock-downs to improve mental health and well-being.
