The funding will be used by the project to offer safe emergency accommodation and supported lodgings in the homes of trained volunteer hosts for young people (aged 16-25) facing homelessness. The volunteer hosts will provide a bed for the night an evening meal the opportunity for a shower and to wash clothes in a safe and caring environment. The young person can integrate with the host family during their stay or have time alone if preferred. It will also provide sessions led by their Homeless prevention Officers to reach young people and educate them about the realities of homelessness and where they can go to for support if they are at risk of homelessness.
