The funding will be used to deliver a service for two years (June 2021 to May 2023). It will produce a series of Educational Worm-farm Workshop Videos and will provide full guidance (and inspiration) about how to make a Worm-farm from upcycled materials and its use for organic waste management and growing organic produce. By encouraging communities across England towards organic waste management and growing produce organically the project meets the government priority action on air pollution and reducing nitrogen oxides and ammonia. Eliminating food waste from landfill reduces the need for fossil fuel driven vehicles creating cleaner communities and addressing carbon reduction targets. As such the project meets the UNs sustainable development goals.
