The group will use its funding to offer concentrating and targeted help to those experiencing complex grief as a result of being bereaved during the pandemic. The group intends to increase resources available from their existing bereavement support service and ensure that the newly complicated bereavement issues being presented as a result of the pandemic are being adequately met. The Bereavement Support Worker will provide more face-to-face appointments either virtually or in person as well as support materials. Workshops to assist this will take place around wellbeing and other important matters for those newly living alone such as scam awareness online safety and nutrition.
