The project will use its funding to provide food toiletries and cleaning materials to members of the community in need in the Handsworth Hockley and Soho areas of Birmingham. This includes those affected by job losses resulting from COVID-19 victims of domestic abuse and asylum seekers. Counselling services will also be offered to people attending the foodbank who might also be experiencing poor mental health.
