The project focuses on supporting cancer patients and survivors trying to rebuild their physical fitness strength wellbeing and confidence by providing bicycles cycling equipment and maintenance support free of charge. It will use its funding to cover salary contribution and a number of expenses relating to organisational development. The organisation is based in Plymouth and usually operates a face-to-face service in the South-West but bikes and equipment are delivered nationwide as services are available to all UK cancer patients and survivors including adults and children. Funding will allow the organisation to continue their current work and meet the increased demand of providing free-of-charge bicycles cycle equipment and maintenance services.
