The funding will enable the organisation to provide an increased number of training opportunities for refugee women whose vulnerabilities have been exacerbated by the Coronavirus pandemic. The project offers a safe place to gain skills in catering leading to paid employment opportunities. Meals are prepared and delivered to local community members in a COVID-19 safe way. The project aims to build confidence and prospects whilst reducing isolation connecting people with shared lived experience whilst also connecting migrant and non-migrant communities through food.
