Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre will use funding to offer additional specialist trauma informed counselling to female survivors of rape sexual abuse and sexual violence during and after the period of lockdown restrictions. Each survivor will be offered up to 15 counselling sessions with a therapist to deal with the impact and trauma of the sexual violence they have been subjected to and the increased anxiety distress and sense of isolation brought about by the lockdown.
