This funding will enable the group to support more vulnerable people during the COVID-19 crisis. It will expand its community food bank and set up a prescription collection service for people with medical needs. A dedicate helpline will be managed by volunteers which people can call if they have concerns about a neighbour or family member. There will be telephone befriending offering people friendship and meals will be provided for people who are homeless or unable to cook for themselves.
