The funding is being used to provide mental health support to BME communities specifically those of African descent in South London particularly Lambeth Southwark and Lewisham over the next three years. Service users include people presenting with significant levels of stress conditions particularly anxieties; depression; panic attacks; self-harm and considerable levels of low self-esteem confidence and self-worth. The group also work with families and young people who are experiencing destitution and poverty exacerbated by Covid-19.
