The funding will be used to fund a range of projects which provide personal social health and economic (PSHE ) education workshops to young people in areas of deprivation in the Luton area. These include support for young people in the LGBTQ+ community focussing on those who have sought asylum as a result of facing persecution in their own country. Others provide holistic mentoring for those that have suffered with their mental health a disability project which creates a space for those with a range of disabilities to develop interpersonal and social skills and team building activities for young people to develop trust confidence and negotiating skills.
