The project will use its funding to re-establish its evening youth clubs which are delivered by sessional youth workers and supported by volunteers. The group hopes to expand the offer of mentoring and access to counselling of young people. The group will provide a structured open access youth provision once a week for school years 7 9 and for school years 10 13. Participants can self-refer to the youth group or are referred by school social services or community policing. The provision is delivered through a programme of activities influenced by the interests of the participants but likely to include first aid food hygiene cooking on a budget CV writing and peer mentoring.
