The five year Access for Success project is using the £595,804 grant to support young disabled people aged 18-25 in Omagh and Derry/Londonderry to take ownership of their lives to improve their well-being and become more involved in their community. After a 12 week programme to learn problem solving, assertiveness and decision making, they choose their next steps, eg, building community connections; accredited volunteer training; or learning to influence others to improve services for young disabled people.
