The aim of this three-year scheme is to make a significant and long lasting contribution to improve mental health and obesity levels in the region through healthy eating and increased physical activity. There are 27 projects in total and the portfolio is expected to benefit in excess of 270,000 people including school children, employees, mothers and sedentary groups. At least 250,000 beneficiaries will also benefit indirectly through a social marketing campaign and projects aimed at employers.
