This project aims to improve the overall mental and physical wellbeing of people with acute mental health needs in Folkestone while developing their self esteem and social networks. The project has four elements to it: A wellbeing group attended by health promotion trainers and community liaison officers; individual counselling sessions depending on need; ecotherapy, consisting of seasonal nature sessions at the community garden; and music therapy, where clients can play instruments, write lyrics and sing.
