The project aims to ensure food security and livelihood improvements for 8,000 beneficiaries (and up to 26,000 indirect beneficiaries) in five districts in the Western Region of The Gambia. Young people and women will be targeted for activities focusing on horticultural training, agro-enterprise (small business) development and marketing, and HIV/AIDS prevention activities.
