The skills for living project will target young adults aged 16-21, who are leaving local authority care. The project will help these young adults to learn key psychosocial skills to reduce their vulnerability to serious mental health problems and self-harm and help them to engage in fulfilling lives within their communities. The project will work with local community groups to raise awareness of mental health issues and to seek mentors to help the young people to put their learning into practice.
