The project will address issues around poverty, social isolation and promote improved health, well-being and greater integration for people aged 50 and over. Based in local venues around Newcastle's West End, the project will offer a varied range of leisure and learning activities, such as gentle exercise classes, complementary therapies, social and walking groups, IT and photography sessions, and provide key practical advice on welfare rights, and benefits and services available.
