The three-year UK-wide project is led by Women Like Us (WLU) and research conducted by Inclusion. It will explore best practice in providing successful employment support for mothers. Women are seven times more likely than men to be out of work because of family responsibilities. There is a gap in knowledge about the support approaches that best facilitate mothers' return to work. It will benefit 500,000 women with children who want to work but can't find work that fits around the needs of their families.
