Understanding psycho-social attitudes towards sport and activity in girls
Understanding psycho-social attitudes towards sport and activity in girls - Prosiect
Trosolwg o'r prosiect
This UK-wide project, in partnership with the Institute for Youth Sport at Loughborough University, will aim to find out why school-age girls lack the motivation and confidence to be active, and to work out how to switch girls back on to sport. Only 25 per cent of 16 year olds girls take part in regular exercise and 40 per cent do none at all. By better understanding the barriers to participation, it will be possible to provide sport and exercise in a way that better meets their needs.
