The funding will be used to offer a community support network for older people, single parents and those with language difficulties who are particularly vulnerable to social isolation and loneliness, due to COVID-19 outbreak. Social network groups will keep in touch with people via telephone, social media, knocks on doors, postcards and letters. Support will also include collecting shopping and medication and distance help to get online.
