The funding will be used to develop Barnardo's current Prouder Communities project which aims to support LGBTQ+ children and young people aged 5-19 years, and their families. The project will support people living in North and West Yorkshire. The project will provide guidance, reduce isolation by bringing peer groups together, and improve emotional and mental health by making the places, spaces and communities that matter to LGBTQ+ children and young people safer and inclusive.
