This project will collect donated bikes, refurbish them, and sell them at affordable prices or give them away for free to those in most need. This will give 500 refugees in Derby a free bicycle, safety equipment, road safety lessons, ongoing repairs, and volunteering opportunities to learn bike repair and refurbish bikes. With free daily transport, refugees will become independently mobile and more easily access the services, training, education, volunteering and support networks they need to re-build their lives.
