The five-year Community LINX Project is using a £361,297 grant to support adults with learning disabilities and autism in the Causeway Coast and Glens and Mid and East Antrim Council areas. The project is helping them to develop friendships and reduce loneliness and isolation through one to one activities, a buddying programme, group activities and a social club. They are also using the grant to run training on communication skills, guidance on maintaining healthy friendships, and volunteer training.
