The organisation will use the funding to develop a garden and horticulture area to improve the wellbeing of people with autism and severe learning difficulties. The project aims to improve peer interaction and teamwork, help people to develop new skills, build self-esteem and confidence, and boost problem solving skills. The garden will supply fruit, vegetables and herbs to the charity's social enterprise, Café on the Park. Flowers and plants grown will also be made available to local businesses.
