Speakeasy offers a range of long-term, bespoke, therapeutic and purposeful activities for people with aphasia (PWA). Aphasia affects the ability to use speech, to understand the speech of other people, to read, write and use numbers. This funding is to continue to deliver support to PWA and raise awareness of the condition. Those with Aphasia will lead on the development and delivery of presentations and activities to build their confidence and skills, and support others in the community.
