Our COVID-19 Priorities

We know that many charities and community organisations across Scotland are facing increasing challenges as a result of COVID-19 and are working extremely hard to provide support within their communities.

All of our funding programmes in Scotland remain open for business as usual.

However, we are also keen to support applications for work responding to the impact of COVID-19 on communities and organisations in Scotland.

In particular, we will prioritise: -

  • organisations supporting people who are at high risk from COVID-19 such as older people, disabled people, people who have been pushed into crisis and people who are receiving end of life care.
  • organisations supporting people most likely to face increased demand and challenges as a result of the COVID-19 crisis such as people from BAME communities, people from LGBT+ communities, people experiencing loneliness and social isolation, people with poor mental health and children and young people.
  • organisations which connect communities and support communities to work together to respond to COVID-19.

How do we apply?

If you need up to £10,000

You can apply online to National Lottery Awards for All for grants of up to £10,000

We aim to process applications to respond to COVID-19 in around two weeks.

If you need more than £10,000

You can apply to one of our existing larger grant programmes for more than £10,000. These include our grants for Improving Lives, grants for Community-Led Activity and Young Start funds.

If you are applying for a COVID-19 response there is now a simplified application process for all of these funds.

This includes a single, shortened application form which focuses on your COVID-19 response. You can access a sample application form below. This will let you see what information you will need to provide if you apply.

If you want to apply, or have any questions, contact us informal chat with you about the idea you need funding for at advicescotland@tnlcommunityfund.org.uk or on 0141 846 0447.

We can then send you an application form
