Commemorative Collection of Braille Books - Project
Project overview
The National Library for the Blind will use their award to create 3 titles of Braille books which will ensure that understanding of the Second World War will not be lost to future generations. There are two million visually impaired people in the UK that cannot read normal print and as less than 5% of all books are converted into Braille, audio or large print these people are easily excluded from the national recollection of the war.
