Project overview

St Nicholas CE Primary School will be able to set up an after school string instrument band with help from a Lottery award. The grant will pay for a range of stringed instruments that children can borrow as they learn to play. All the children will benefit from a term of free tuition and the opportunity to play in the new string ensemble. This will help children who may not be able to afford to buy an instrument of their own to have the opportunity to take part in the band and learn new skills.
