The Digital Community - Project

Project overview

The funding will be used to deliver digital and IT skills workshops to people from the BAME community where English is not their first language. The project aims to provide vulnerable people with the IT skills to be able to carry out basic tasks such as create an email address pay bills online complete job applications and send/reply to emails. The project will provide them with a support network which will increase their self-esteem and overcome feelings of isolation.
