COVID Child Mental Health Support Group - Project

Project overview

This project aims to provide a bespoke package of support for children in the area who have had their mental health and wellbeing affected by COVID and the lockdowns. It will support them through a weekly group meeting with additional one-to-one support at key times. Issues tackled include anxiety depression self harm school refusal aggression poor self image isolation loneliness friendship skills and staying safe. The participants will be young people who have been referred from schools or self-referred from their own families.
