Project overview

The funding will be used to launch an inclusive volunteer scheme which will help to support the management and development of urban greenspaces and parks in Newcastle. They will recruit and train new and existing volunteers who will improve 33 local parks through conservation tasks and community engagement activities. This aims to reduce isolation and improve community cohesion.
