Project overview

The group will use its funding over two years to promote integration and social cohesion amongst the Filipino community in England. The project will continue the delivery of broadcast video content to the Filipino community nationally via their Facebook and You Tube platforms. The funding will be used to create a mentorship programme for British-Filipinos wishing to look beyond the stereotypical roles of the first generation of Filipino migrants. It will help people to develop and hone their skills and guide them should they want to pursue a career in journalism media and law through a paid internship program.
