Vascular EDS Support Programme - Project

Project overview

The grant will allow the group to expand support for those affected by Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (VEDS) across England through provision of information and advice local support groups and raising awareness of the condition amongst healthcare professionals. It aims to expand provision of holistic family support enabling further individuals and family members affected by VEDS to improve their mental health and wellbeing. The group will increase the capacity of its patient coordinator in order to extend helpline hours in order to respond to more and support people in accessing services more easily.
