This funding will allow The Charities Advisory Trust (CAT) to support approximately 30000 knitters to knit items for distribution to disadvantaged people living in the UK. The project has distinct groups of members: people receiving knitted goods and yarn people knitting and the organisations that distribute knitted items to their communities p[particularly to children's charities care homes homelessness charities and women's refugee groups.
