The funding will allow the project provide a more permanent community larder that is safer and more accessible. It will provide food and hygiene items to serve local people experiencing food insecurity or suffering financial hardship due to job loss or reduction in household income as a result of COVID-19. It will also cater to disabled people who are vulnerable and unable to travel to a food bank or affordable supermarket food.
