Online Trauma Group - Project

Project overview

Chayn is an open source volunteer led organisation that uses tech to empower women. It is seeking funding to extend and enhance a new online trauma support service. The funding would contribute to hiring staff members and increasing tech capabilities technical capacity. This project will use use simple technology to allow for secure conversations to recreate an in-person group therapy with vulnerable people. Chayn is supporting those who are living with or recovering from abusive experiences so they know they are not alone and they can develop coping skills to deal with or move past this trauma.
