Project overview

African Families in the UK bridges the gap between Black Asian Minority Ethnic families to access local services and social inclusion. The group will use funding to support families during COVID-19 with shopping vouchers and will provide continued support with shopping for those who are shielding due to health issues. The funding will be used to promote the importance of exercise during lockdown. The funding will also be used to address isolation run online tutoring for young people and link in with local churches and mosques to provide food packs.
